I loveeee this place and I think they do the rice bowls so well. I’ve gone here probably 6 or so times. I usually get the purple rice bowl with bulgogi (which is so well marinaded!). The egg is really expensive in my opinion so I usually skip.
It is a bit pricier than other fast food places, but the ingredients always taste really fresh. I really recommend!!
I have eaten here many times, and am usually very satisfied. Tonight marks the first occasion where the food was sub-par, owing to the quality of the bulgogi, which was sliced too thickly, very tough, and generally overcooked. I mentioned this to the server who did not offer any compensation. The other ingredients in the bowl were fine, but the bulgogi is supposed to be the highlight, and it was a miserable fialure.
We ordered one portion of the rice and one portion of noodles. To be put in simple words it’s like Korean chipotle with multiple meat options, sides and sauces that you can add. The portions were very good for the prices. Out of the both, the noodles were on the top. The chicken was very tender. Out of the sauce, ginger carrot is only favorite. Wish they had some appetizers like Korean fries chicken.
But overall the food is excellent and highly recommend it.
Ordered online and confirmation said food would be ready at 5pm. Got there 5:05 and indicated we were there to pick up a to-go order. The guy asked for my name and then said "just a minute" and went back to serve people in line. I was thinking to myself "what's the point of ordering online if you still need to wait until after everybody who got in the door before you was served?" Patiently waited until no one was in line and inquired again. Was told that they ran out of beef but new batch should be ready in a few minutes. So the wait continued. Inquired again at 5:20 when it'd be ready and was asked "would you like a refund?" We left the place to run other errands at 5:25, 25 minutes after when the food was supposed to be ready and still no food. And this is not make-to-order by any means. It's like a Chipotle or Cava for Korean foods. Would not recommend.
I like Seoul Spice so much that i come here at least 2x a month. The marinade they use on the beef makes it very flavorful. While I've tried the purple rice, i prefer the glass noodles, which i learned is made from sweet potato (even though it doesn't taste like it). I like spicy foods so the Korean hot sauce is my favorite. There's a decent array of veggies and toppings to add to your dish. In terms of their inhouse juices, i really like the Kale-apple juice. I wasn't sure about the idea of those two combined in a beverage but it doesn't taste like a thick green veggie smoothie, it tastes more like apples than kale.
Flavor packed! This location is so great! The ingredients and veggies are fresh and I love the juice options for beverages.
I usually get a Rice bowl with Spicy Pork as my protein. (The purple rice is so good! (So I mix it with white rice too!) For veggies/toppings, I get bean sprouts, Korean radish, cucumbers, kale, kimchi, cilantro, and scallions. There's also multiple made from scratch sauces you can add too. I love to mix the Ginger-Carrot and the Creamy Sriracha.
Also, the Kale Apple juice is a fave of mine! Seoul Spice is so flavorful. I also like that this location is right on a plaza. If you don't want to sit inside or don't want to wait to drive home to enjoy your meal, you can sit outside on the large stair.
Great quality food and quick service. So yummy!
